Why I Write

I have been an avid reader since I was a little girl on a quest to explore mysteries, great stories, and understand the meaning of life and how to be the best I can be.  I didn’t know it then but this passion had a significant purpose in my life.  I also grew to be the confidant to my friends and many strangers, listening and holding their secrets.  As with anyone, I became busy with the happenings of my life focusing on this thing and that, battling the challenges of life as they came.  Yet there was a yearning for my special place I once loved. Through all the changes of my life I was tempted to return and explore this space that I’ve now learned to expand and enjoy no matter what life brings.

I returned to my first love and wonderfully realized I now have a few more loves and talents – the gift of poetry, imaginative story-telling, as well as inspiring and encouraging my friends to be all they can be. I’ve kept this to myself and within my circle of friends for a long time until I was brave enough to bring it to you. Now is that time.

So now I am walking in my passions of writing, inspiring, and stringing words together to form a melody of thoughts and dreams to encourage you to be your best self.
